The Abbey Medieval Festival situated just north of Brisbane is Queensland’s premier medieval re-enactment event. Tens of thousands of the paying public turn up to see and interact with the re-enactors from vast periods of time and different people groups.
From gypsies to romans to Vikings to priests and monks, lords and ladies, peasants and jesters there is every type of person you can think of and more. There is drinking, jousting, jesting, archery, fighting and more.
However we appreciate that sometimes people would like a high res edited photo. We offer an editing service at a realistic price. All images in the sample galleries are low quality low res images with a large watermark. All our sold photos are edited full size with a small discreet watermark in the bottom left or right corner and are suitable for personal use and social media.
All the images are online and in the 2015 Abbey Medieval Festival Gallery

Local musician Eugene Harpsnake plays the harp, guitar and foot drums – he also keeps snakes! We have shot his snakes before and so jumped at the chance to shoot them again when he needed some photos for promotional material. We also were able to include Trudii who wanted to overcome a fear of snakes and get some nice glamour images with the snakes. We also managed to get Eugene’s wife and little baby into a nice family photo and Trudii’s daughter and friend also held snakes for the first time.

Dance Integrated Australia’s Philip Channells recently ran some workshops with Access Arts for dancers with and without disabilities. What an amazing event to be part of. Along with Inside Outside Theatre we had a great time shooting this event.

We often get people coming to us for profile pictures and we shoot a surprisingly different range of images for them. Here are some examples – bearing in mind everyone has a different need and style.
We also have shot many athletes for their profile images. Here are some examples.
When Talia came to us she expressed her need as an actress to show several completely different looks in her profile photos. We used her concepts of edgy skater girl, children's entertainer fairy and corporate professional business women to create some very different looks for her.
If you need a profile picture for any reason then contact us. If we haven't got the style you are looking for in these photos don't worry, we can shoot to any style you need.

We love live music and shooting bands live on stage is tough but rewarding. Its always a challenge using the ambient lighting inside a club to capture the mood and energy of the event. Regale was a collection of progressive rock and metal bands along with some talented dancers and performers.
We got a large selection of images and they are on Facebook for your viewing pleasure.

Sometimes a quick simple shot is the best way to capture a moment in time. As a photographer it seems we often forget to do our own family photos. A recent time spent with one of the Grandads was opportunity for an impromptu self timed shot out the front of the house.
If you want simple portraits like these we can do a very good price. Let us know when and where and we can turn up to your birthday or family gathering function and just create a nice shot for your memories.
Michelle is a talented dancer. We have shot her before as a ballerina meeting death. This time we combined some belly dancing with her gypsy costume and had a lot of fun. It is amazing what you can pull off in a small suburban house and back yard.

What people say about us
Tim has been the official photographer for PRIMA (Pine Rivers Musical Association Incorporated) for the past 4 years. Being a not for profit Musical Theatre Company, we simply do not have surplus funding available to employ a photographer. However, after being referred to Tim by a personal friend of mine, we struck a deal! Tim has supported PRIMA as a sponsor, and provided countless hours at the many photoshoots required with a Musical Production with small and large casts! I have always found him to be extremely approachable and dedicated to his craft. He is only ever a phone call, or message away, especially when I need some help with fitting in a photo! He has provided photography for our ‘Gothic style’ Musical of Little Shop of Horrors, the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar and now the classic musical of Oliver! Tim always brings about professionalism and prides himself in professional photography, particularly down to the editing of all photos, but more specifically, to the specifications I often demand. So I would like to extend a great big Thank you to Tim Miller from Dreamcoat Photography for his services, and look forward to many other photoshoots down the track....including hopefully some new family portraits. Thanks Tim!
