The Caboolture Transit Lounge runs youth oriented mini festivals semi regularly, and we have been invited to shoot a few. Its good fun and theres lots to see and do.

This was a wedding we had waited a long time for. Not just clients but very special friends, Eddie and Linda tied the knot in a simple but very beautiful beach side ceremony at Cabarita Beach in NSW. We covered the whole day from the dressing and makeup, pre wedding photos with all 8 of Linda’s children, the wedding and post wedding afternoon tea and then some beautiful beachside couple shots.
The reception was a fortnight later and we covered that also.
Supernova is the Pop Culture Event icon in Australia. There are numerous conventions in different locations each year. At the Gold Coast event this year we were sponsoring the Drawn2Life Cosplay group who were running a charity event raising funds for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
As sponsors we provided photobooth photography for patrons to donate and receive a free photo of themselves with their favourite cosplay characters. We also had some roaming photographers getting some shots. Most of the work though was directly in the booth.
As long standing supporters and sponsors of the Pine Rivers Musical Association (PRIMA) we once again put together the promo shoot for their latest musical endeavour. This time they are running a 60’s themed Theatre Restaurant. So we took the opportunity to explore the zany hippy culture and the radical mod rock culture a little (with some artistic license liberally applied).
The show dates are May 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 and 25. Tickets haven’t been released yet but you can join the event on Facebook and get yours as soon as they come out.
When ultra tail runners Jeff and Natalie met through their running club sparks flew. Ok they were slow but eventually after Jeff ran an ultra as motivation to ask Natalie out and from then on it was just a matter of time.
And as I shoot them a lot out in the bush running ultra events (last one was 160km) they asked me to shoot the wedding also.
Last weekend they tied the know in front of immediate family in a very intimate and beautiful setting of the lush tropical rainforest of Mt Glorious.
We love shooting weddings and set up packages to suit all wedding types, from full service all day affairs through to small events like this one.
So when Mark Skater from The Vault asked us to shoot he behind the scenes and stills for his latest Sucker Punch tribute Short Film Episode 3 we jumped at he chance of shooting some cool dressed up people. Some people we knew, others were new to us, but we had a fun afternoon mixing up knights, orcs, medieval maidens and gun toting Sucker Punch ladies in costume.
