Back in February 2013 we shot the Drupalcon Sydney conference. The keynote speaker for Day Two of DrupalCon Sydney was Senator the Hon Kate Lundy, Minister Assisting for Innovation and Industry. From the Drupalcon Website;
Senator Lundy is well known amongst the Australian open source community, and well regarded in open government circles around the world. Given Drupal’s wide adoption by governments and public companies, non-profits and open data initiatives around the world, we are very excited to have Senator Lundy deliver a keynote address titled, “From Open Source to Open Government.”
We also covered the beach cricket on Coogee beach, the code sprint and many of the sessions and meals.
Sometimes as a photographer you just don't have time to shoot your own family. Getting them all in the same place at the same time with the right attitude and clothing is as hard as organising a shoot for any paying clients. Trust me, we know what you go through tog et everybody to us on the day when you bring your family to us to shoot.
Recently I put together a mini shoot on the the lounge room floor. Not that you would know that from the results.
Sometimes we are asked to produce portfolio shots for ladies interested in modelling. The idea is to get as many different looks and styles to show versatility and naturalness. This shoot for Cassie covered 4 hours, 4 locations and 6 clothing changes.
One of our long term models Ally recently imported a Nissan Skyline GT from Japan. It is completely unmodified and will prove to be a good base machine for her to modify over the coming years.
I was part of a team shooting for alternative Solitude Magazine at Cedar Creek Mt Tamborine yesterday. A number of the best photos will be released in the magazine in due course. However here are some of my stand out images from the shoot.
I was really happy about finding the perfect vine swing in the rainforest and being able to shoot Meg swinging on it with some slow panning effects.
Mel channelled her inner Lara Croft on a waterfall while Heather was a forest nymph. Onoke did her best Summer Glau impersonation (from Serenity) and Mel also floated dead in the water. Finally Kurt from Umbrella Corp showed some abseiling skills and action on a cliff.
We were asked to shoot a clothing shoot for an alternative clothing and themed shoot just recently. The idea was to show off the clothing as best as possible.
Tim Miller is one of the nicest people you are likely to meet. A great photographer that really cares about your desires and input into the photo shoot. He has done several shoots for me now for my reptile business, and my music business. I would never go anywhere else while Tim is still available in my proximity. I am really glad I have Tim on my advertising team as he is a real Team Player with the experience, the knowledge, and the desire to please. Tim will always produce a photo shoot that will make you glad he is who you have chosen to do the photography for you, whether it be nature, animals, or family and self porterait (sic) photohraphy (sic). Thanks Tim for your hard work and fantastic results. I use the photos you produced for me on a daily basis in my businesses.
