We recently did a cosplay shoot for a young Vocaloid fan – wearing her Kagamine Rin Cosplay.
We used the Japanese Gardens in the Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens for the shoot. Amy was very enthusiastic and enjoyed working with us a lot – she will be booking more shoots in the future.
I have long wanted to do a Trash the Dress shoot. I have even had a dress donated to me, the problem was finding someone to fit it, and the time to go do the shoot.
Recently the opportunity presented itself, a trip into the hills to a remote waterfall that i hoped would be flowing with water after recent heavy rains. However we discovered after getting there the rains hadn't been there. Still we made the best of the location (no waterfalls) and dodged spiders and leeches to get these shots.
If you are interested in a similar shoot, the dress is still ok and a size 8! Or bring your own.
Sometimes we just like to shoot animals – with a camera that is!
Here are some recent shots of some snakes and birds for your enjoyment.
Of course if you have pets you would like to capture with you then we are up for that, from venomous snakes through to cuddly guinea pigs we have shot all sort of animals and their owners.

Tim has been the official photographer for PRIMA (Pine Rivers Musical Association Incorporated) for the past 4 years. Being a not for profit Musical Theatre Company, we simply do not have surplus funding available to employ a photographer. However, after being referred to Tim by a personal friend of mine, we struck a deal! Tim has supported PRIMA as a sponsor, and provided countless hours at the many photoshoots required with a Musical Production with small and large casts! I have always found him to be extremely approachable and dedicated to his craft. He is only ever a phone call, or message away, especially when I need some help with fitting in a photo! He has provided photography for our ‘Gothic style’ Musical of Little Shop of Horrors, the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar and now the classic musical of Oliver! Tim always brings about professionalism and prides himself in professional photography, particularly down to the editing of all photos, but more specifically, to the specifications I often demand. So I would like to extend a great big Thank you to Tim Miller from Dreamcoat Photography for his services, and look forward to many other photoshoots down the track....including hopefully some new family portraits. Thanks Tim!
